Pregnancy Chiropractor

Pregnancy is amazing but it can definitely be uncomfortable. Whilst pregnancy can be a beautiful time for mum-to-be in can also be a real pain in the back! The postural adaptation of a woman’s body during pregnancy results in significant functional adaption of the pelvic structures. This can increase the load placed on the lower back and other pelvic structures including the important uterine ligaments. This can lead to pain and can even have an effect on foetal positioning and in turn baby’s ability to move through the pelvis during childbirth.

Much care is taken to support your pregnant body and protect your tummy. We use pregnancy pillows and supports to make the treatment as comfortable as possible.
